Terms and Service
Terms for using CarDoctor services.
These terms explain how CarDoctor bookings, mobile inspections, diagnostics, light roadside support, reports, and partner referrals work.
1. About CarDoctor
CarDoctor provides on-site automotive diagnostic, pre-purchase inspection, vehicle condition review, light roadside support, towing coordination, and garage referral support. Our service is designed to help customers make better decisions before buying, repairing, or moving a vehicle.
2. Booking and Appointment Confirmation
A booking request is not final until CarDoctor confirms the service type, date, time, location, and price. We may accept, reject, reschedule, or cancel a booking if the location is not serviceable, the request is unsafe, the information is incomplete, or a technician is unavailable.
3. Customer Responsibilities
The customer must provide accurate vehicle details, location, contact number, access permission, and any known safety concerns. The customer or an authorized person should be available at the agreed location. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle can be legally and safely inspected at that location.
4. Scope of Service
CarDoctor inspections and scans are based on the visible condition of the vehicle and the data available from portable diagnostic tools at the time of inspection. Some faults may be intermittent, hidden, recently cleared, or not visible without workshop-level disassembly. Our findings are professional guidance, not a guarantee of future vehicle performance.
5. No Major Repairs On-Site
CarDoctor is not a heavy mechanical workshop. We do not perform major engine, gearbox, electrical, body, chassis, or structural repairs on-site. If major repair is needed, we may suggest a towing operator or partner garage. The final decision to use any third-party provider remains with the customer.
6. Third-Party Garages and Towing Providers
When we refer a customer to a towing provider, garage, spare-parts seller, or other third party, that provider is independent from CarDoctor unless clearly stated otherwise. Their pricing, work quality, warranty, delays, and conduct are their responsibility. Customers should confirm all third-party prices and terms directly before approving work.
7. Reports, Photos, and Recommendations
Inspection reports, photos, scan results, and recommendations are prepared for the customer who ordered the service. They are based on the vehicle condition at the time of inspection. Reports should not be altered, resold, or used to mislead another person.
8. Payments
Service charges must be paid as agreed before, during, or immediately after the service. Parts, consumables, towing, garage repair, extra visits, and additional services are charged separately unless clearly included in the confirmed booking.
9. Cancellations, No-Show, and Delays
Customers should notify CarDoctor as early as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule. If a technician has already been dispatched, a visit or cancellation charge may apply. If the customer is unavailable, the vehicle cannot be accessed, or the location is incorrect, the booking may be treated as a no-show.
10. Limitation of Liability
CarDoctor is not responsible for future vehicle breakdowns, hidden defects, seller misrepresentation, third-party garage work, towing issues, or decisions made by the customer after receiving our advice. Our maximum liability, where legally allowed, is limited to the amount paid to CarDoctor for the specific service in question.
11. Website Use
Customers must not misuse the website, submit false bookings, attempt unauthorized access, upload harmful content, copy website materials without permission, or interfere with booking operations.
12. Changes to These Terms
CarDoctor may update these terms when services, pricing, or operational needs change. The latest version published on the website applies from the date shown on this page.
